Slow progress of the national anthem policy negotiations with the players union alliance difficult to reach agreement

US local time on Friday afternoon, according to reliable sources, although the NFL and the NFL Players Association are satisfied with the current process of negotiations for the coalition policy of the national anthem ceremony, and both eventually find a solution for the issue to be optimistic, however, before the new season, the regular season began, the two sides is difficult to reach agreement on this policy.

Earlier this week, members of the Executive Committee of the NFL players union and team owners were part of the communication on this policy. In a joint statement released Monday, the two sides will be the meeting as “effective” talk, and stressed that “will continue to work together to find a solution.”

According to internal news source said, while the two sides continue to maintain communication, and the league and the players union wants to know how each other will deal with the new controversy in the new season, such as a player continued to protest during the national anthem ceremony, team owner or it is a response to the Union, and the United States President Donald – Trump whether it will continue to express their personal stance on the matter.

In May this year, NFL team owners have unanimously adopted a new national anthem policy, however, is delaying the implementation of this policy last month.

In July, NFL players union raised objections against non-injury legitimacy of this policy. Soon after, the two sides decided to suspend implementation of the new policy, and discuss new solutions together.
